Seerr (Jellyseerr) is where you request new movies and TV shows to be added to
the Jellyfin library. Search for something, request it, and it will be
downloaded and appear in Jellyfin automatically.
Login: Go to request.bvoy.dev and sign in with
your bvoy.dev account via SSO, or with your Jellyfin account.
- Go to request.bvoy.dev
- Use the search bar (top) to find the movie
- Click on it → click Request
- Done — the movie is queued for download and will appear in Jellyfin once
complete
- Search for the TV show
- Click on it → click Request
- Choose which seasons to request (or request all)
- Click Request to confirm
You can request individual seasons — useful if the show already has some seasons
in Jellyfin but is missing others.
Note: TV show requests are reviewed by an admin before being approved.
Shows can vary significantly in total size (especially multi-season runs), so
an admin will vet the request before it's queued for download. Movies are
auto-approved.
Click your profile icon (top right) → Requests to see:
- Pending — waiting to be processed
- Approved — approved and being downloaded
- Available — in Jellyfin and ready to watch
Movies are auto-approved and start downloading immediately. TV show requests
require admin approval first due to variable library size.
Seerr's home screen shows:
- Trending — what's popular right now
- Recently Added — what's been added to Jellyfin recently
- New on Streaming — new releases on major streaming platforms
Use this to find things you might want to watch.
If something in Jellyfin is broken (wrong audio, missing subtitles, corrupted
video):
- Find the movie/show in Seerr
- Click Report Issue
- Select the issue type and add a description
This notifies the admin to fix or re-download the file.
- Subtitles: Subtitles are managed by Bazarr. If a show is missing
subtitles, wait a few hours — they're fetched automatically. For specific
languages, leave a note in the request.
- Already in Jellyfin? If you search for something and it shows as
"Available," it's already in the library — head to
watch.bvoy.dev to find it.
- Request limit: There's no hard request limit, but please be reasonable —
bulk-requesting hundreds of shows at once strains the download queue.
